Hi, everyone!

Welcome to my new site! A friend suggested that I needed an “author web site” and offered to build one for me… and here it is! I hope you like it.

I write for both children and adults, in several different genres and on a variety of topics. I’ve always loved theatre and books and stories, and I see myself as a storyteller, not only through my writing but through my directing and acting as well. I enjoy telling my children’s stories, other people’s stories, even the stories of rhyming fairies. 🙂 Occasionally I tell some of my own stories too.

I’ll include some of my writing here, such as my Huffington Post Parents and Huffington Post College articles. You’ll also find information on my bullying-prevention play Have You Filled a Bucket Today? based on Carol McCloud’s award-winning books. Bullying-prevention programming is an issue that is near and dear to my heart, so you’ll probably see a lot about it here.
